Facebook’s Farmville – It’s So Entertaining!

I have friends and relatives that live in other countries. Some of my friends I have not met in person. Even though we might be oceans apart we are all neighbors in Farmville. In this fun filled country setting my friends property borders mine.

Our online farms are incredible fun. We start with a small tract of land. We plow our fields and plant crops. We earn money from harvesting our bounty. The Farmville Game is so much fun!

We purchase seeds at the general store and plant our fields. We decorate our property and construct everything from chicken coops to mansions. We can do our plowing, planting and harvesting by hand or purchase heavy machinery. We can also buy extra fuel.

We all have farmer personalities and we get to pick what our online self will look like to others. We can plant one crop or ten separate kinds of seeds. You must pay attention to the length of time until harvest. Forgotten crops will curdle in the fields and you will lose the income.

Neighbors are great at helping with your farm, sending a note if your crops are about to fail, and they can even give you useful items. Instead of buying an animal or tree you can receive one as a gift from your neighbors. Be sure to send gifts every time you visit your farm and you will get many in return.

Save your money for a small house, a log cabin, gazebo, or barn. Collect plenty of animals because they all generate income for the farm. There is profit in the milk from the cow that goes “moo”.

You will fall in love with the gigantic variety of trees. My favorites are the fruit trees because they are colorful and provide extra dollars for the farm. There is a harvest schedule for your trees too.

There is a marketplace where you can sell your goods. You can elect to keep your gifts or sell them online. You can also earn points by clicking on a neighbors avatar revealing a drop down menu. You can send a message, a gift, or volunteer to tend to their farm. Visit their farm to pick some weeds, water, or chase crows away. It takes seconds and gives you benefits.

This creative world is bright, colorful, and always has new options for fun and frolic on the farm. You can even take a snapshot of your farm and proudly post it for the whole world to enjoy. So climb up on your tractor, harvester, or seeder and remember that green means grow.
