Buying gifts for geeks can be hard or easy. The first thing you should do is try to find out what kind of geek you are buying for. There is geeks that love to play video games and there are many different others like computer geeks.

If you happen to ask them, you should make sure that the person does not know you are getting them a gift. Geeks can like a number of different things such as computers, games or even action figures. Some people even consider geeks to be people who like to read books and such a lot.

If you can not afford an expensive gift for a geek then you could try to get something that is cheap. There are a number of things that can be bought that are not very expensive. There are even geeks that like to collect certain action figures.

A lot of people underestimate geeks and think all they do is sit in the house and do nothing more than play video games and mess with computers. But geeks are more than this and are usually very smart and I have found that they are a little shy but make great friends.

In order to find out what the person likes, you should ask them a couple weeks before you decide to buy the gift, this way they wont be tipped off that you are going to get them something. If you really want to surprise them, you should get them something on a day that is not a special day, like a Holiday or a Birthday.
